Carlyle Group (CG) has held talks with Citi (C) CFO Mark Mason and outgoing Morgan Stanley (MS) COO Jonathan Pruzan as the private equity firm tries to find a new CEO following the abrupt departure of Kewsong Lee last year, The Financial Times’ Antoine Gara, Joshua Franklin, and Kaye Wiggins report, citing people briefed on the matter. The FT previously reported that internal candidates include Mark Jenkins, head of Carlyle’s credit business, and Peter Clare, chairs its private equity business. Reference Link
