Lockheed Martin awarded $2.77B Navy contract modification

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a Lockheed Martin company, was awarded a $2.77B fixed-price incentive, firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract. This modification adds scope for Lots 7 and 8 block buy contract for a combined quantity of 35 CH-53K full-rate production aircraft, 27 for the Marine Corps and eight for the government of Israel, as well as provides associated aircraft and programmatic support, logistical support and spares. Work is expected to be completed in December 2027. FY23 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $990.94M and Foreign Military Sales customer funds in the amount of $324.71M will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
