Lockheed Martin awarded $109.25M Navy contract

Lockheed Martin was awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee $109.25M contract to support the integration of the Trident II, or D5, Missile and reentry subsystems into the Common Missile Compartment for the U.S./U.K. Columbia/Dreadnought submarine construction programs. Work is expected to be complete by February 28, 2029. FY24 shipbuilding and conversion funds in the amount of $80.92M and foreign funds in the amount of $28.33M, will be obligated at time of award. No funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is being awarded on a sole source basis under 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) with one proposal received and was previously synopsized on the System for Award Management website. Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
