Microsoft’s LinkedIn confirmed it will stop letting advertisers target users in Europe based on data gathered from their participation in LinkedIn Groups, TechCrunch’s Paul Sawers reports. The decisions comes after a collective of civil society groups filed a complaint with the European Commission over a possible violation of the Digital Services Act, the author notes.
