National Bank raised the firm’s price target on Lightspeed to $25 from $20 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The analyst expects “strong” fiscal Q3 results from Lightspeed based on the firm’s view that management’s guidance is overly conservative. The outlook implies little to no expansion in payment penetration and flat to negative growth in transaction volume despite solid retail sales data in the U.S. in a seasonally stronger quarter, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
