Larry Fink is facing a proxy challenge from Bluebell Capital Partners, a U.K. activist investor, that is looking to split his chair and CEO role, The Financial Times’ Brooke Masters reports. The activists contended in a separate presentation that the 17-member board is too large and there has been “an unequivocal failure of BlackRock’s governance to provide independent oversight on the company’s management.”
