Benchmark analyst Todd Brooks raised the firm’s price target on Kura Sushi to $90 from $85 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after the company reported fiscal Q1 results. Revenues and prime costs were in line with expectations, but occupancy and other costs were both dragged on by accelerated new unit openings that occurred faster than expected, the analyst tells investors. The firm was “most encouraged” by the pace of new openings and the upping of full year new unit guidance, the analyst added.
