In a regulatory filing, JPMorgan (JPM) said it has recorded a gain of about $8B after restructuring its stake in Visa (V) in preparation for a potential sale of some of its shares. The bank did not specify what it would do with all of the proceeds but said in a statement that it would donate about $1B in Visa stock to its charitable foundation.
