After The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that Amazon is rolling out Inspire, "a TikTok-like feature," in its app that allows select customers to buy products from a customized feed of photos and videos, JMP Securities analyst Nicholas Jones said he views the news positively given his belief that Inspire will likely drive more engagement and better conversion for its users. While he does "not view the news as thesis changing," he would look toward the broader rollout to test the new feature and to the Q4 earnings call to learn more on the expected impact of the feed on retail revenue. Jones keeps an Outperform rating and $140 price target on Amazon shares.
