JPMorgan lowered the firm’s price target on J.B. Hunt to $209 from $212 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The analyst expects the stock will outperform following a Q4 earnings report that was stronger than expected, especially within the key Intermodal segment where margins on a comparable basis increased sequentially. The firm expects the narrative of improving Intermodal margins and volumes will outweigh the potential risk to numbers of slower Dedicated Contract Services growth and higher insurance premiums.
