Intel (INTC) survived an effort to halt laptop chip sales to Huawei under a Trump-era license, after AMD (AMD) pressured President Joe Biden, Reuters’ Alexandra Alper reports, citing sources. AMD had argued that it was unfair that it did not receive a license to sell similar chips to Huawei, according to the report.
