IFF named short-term buy idea at Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank placed a “Catalyst Call: Buy” on IFF as a short-term investment idea. In its January 11 press release announcing an unexpected but not surprising CEO transition, IFF also stated that it “continues to progress additional divestiture actions,’ the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes the statement refers to the likely sale of the company’s Pharma Solutions business. It believes sale of Pharma Solutions is the most logical way for the company to achieve its year-end 2024 net debt target ratio.
