As previously reported, Erste Group analyst Hans Engel upgraded IBM (IBM) to Buy from Hold. IBM’s sales will grow more strongly this year and next year than in the previous year as the company benefits from the “solid” growth rates of Red Hat software and from increasing implementations of AI applications at customers, said the analyst, who added that operating profit is expected to grow slightly faster than revenue.
