Wells Fargo tells investors in a research note that Comcast’s (CMCSA) CEO said they signed a deal with Disney (DIS) pulling forward the Hulu put/call trigger to September 30, and that a consummation of the deal is constructive to both parties. The potential range to Hulu’s assessed EV, net of tax, can add nicely to Comcast’s buyback but is still relatively modest, the firm says, adding that the conclusion would also remove an overhang for Disney.
