HSBC is exploring the sale of some of its businesses in Germany, including its wealth-management, custody and fund administration units, Jan-Henrik Forster, Arno Schutze and Eyk Henning of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. The bank is working with advisers on a review and discussions are at an early stage, sources told Bloomberg. HSBC‘s corporate-banking and trading activities in Germany aren’t affected by the review, the people said.
