At a recent news conference, Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe said he expects the boom in global hybrid sales to continue to 2030, which will help fund its Y 10T, or $65B, investment plan to expand EV production, Kana Inagaki and David Keohane of The Financial Times reports. Mibe also said the company would stick to its target to phase out petrol and diesel cars by 2040.
