Hertz (HTZ) is being investigated by the NHTSA over whether the company rented certain vehicles without having performed required recall repairs, in violation of federal requirements, the Wall Street Journal’s Will Feuer reports. The probe is looking into Ford (F) Explorer and Nissan (NSANY) Altima vehicles that were owned by Hertz from 2018 to 2020. A Hertz spokeswoman said the company is reviewing NHTSA’s request. "We are committed to providing safe rentals for our customers," she said. Reference Link
