DA Davidson raised the firm’s price target on Harley-Davidson to $49 from $42 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Davidson’s most recent channel checks indicated Harley-Davidson’s February retail momentum continued throughout March, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm now has increased confidence in the company’s Q1 U.S. retail sales upside and forward-looking fiscal 2024 commentary. It estimates Harley’s Q1 U.S. retail sales were up a low- to mid-single digit percent, driven by a strong close to the quarter with March retail sales likely up mid-teens year-over-year. It sees strong consumer reception for the company’s new MY24 product launch.
