Truist analyst Brandon King downgraded Hancock Whitney to Hold from Buy with a price target of $50, down from $54. Stabilizing deposit trends and recent securities portfolio restructuring have improved the NII trajectory, but the firm thinks the stock is close to fairly valued and sees a lack of medium-term positive earnings catalysts. The firm’s 2024 EPS estimate is 3% below consensus and its 2025 EPS estimate is 6% below consensus, the analyst noted.
