Guess deal for rag & bone part of take-private effort, Puck says

Guess and global brand management firm WHP Global have announced a definitive agreement to acquire New York-based fashion brand rag & bone and “a take-private of Guess may be part of the equation,” according to Puck. The publication recently heard that the family behind Guess, the Marcianos, were over in the Middle East trying to raise capital for a take-private of the company, though the headline “was that they were hanging this potential step change on the acquisition of Rag & Bone,” Puck stated.
