Grifols falls after Gotham City questions ethics in new short report

In a new report, short seller Gotham City Research said Grifols did not address all the firm’s questions, despite the company’s claims, Gotham also questions the company’s “commitment to transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct.” The firm asks, “Why does Grifols selectively disclose the existence of this ‘cash pool financing agreement’ to bank analysts, but not publicly disclose these details in a press release or in their Grifols filings?” Shares of Grifols are down 7% to $5.74 in premarket trading.
