Goldman Sachs has fired executives in its transaction banking business, including the head of the unit Hari Moorthy, over compliance violations, Bloomberg’s Sridhar Natarajan reports, citing a person with direct knowledge of the matter. The company told staff in a memo that it let go several leaders of the unit who communicated on unauthorized channels and didn’t comply with an internal examination, the author says.
