Maneck Behramkamdin, associate vice president and business head at Godrej Aerospace, said the Indian company is in talks to manufacture aircraft parts for suppliers to Airbus (EADSY) and Boeing (BA) as airlines place record aircraft orders, Reuters’ Dhwani Pandya reports. The executive said that Air India and IndiGo have nearly 1,000 new jets on order between them, meaning 2,000-2,500 engines would at some point require maintenance, the author notes.
