GM to postpone Investor Day amid UAW strikes, Detroit Free Press reports

General Motors plans to delay its Investor Meeting scheduled for November in an effort to focus on reaching a new labor agreement with the UAW, Jamie L. LaReau of The Detroit Free Press reports. The automaker is expected to provide the financial impact it has incurred from the strike on October 24 when it reports Q3 results. GM spokesman Jim Cain confirmed to the Detroit Free Press that the automaker told investors last week that it would hold its investor day “in the first part of next year since our leadership team is currently focused on labor negotiations.”
