Gilat Satellite Networks announced that the US Department of Defense awarded over $5M for baseband equipment to one of the company’s US-based subsidiaries, DataPath The baseband networking solution will be used with the company’s DKET 3421 terminals, which are transportable satcom hubs that deliver the operational flexibility, capacity, connectivity, and control required to ensure success anywhere in the world. By supplying the baseband equipment, the company is completing the customer’s ability to field a completed, turnkey satellite communications architecture. “This order reflects the confidence and trust placed in the company to deliver communications solutions that meet even the most stringent performance requirements,” said Barry W.
