FuboTV (FUBO) filed a lawsuit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York that seeks to block the joint venture between Fox Corp. (FOXA), Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and ESPN parent Disney (DIS) that plans to launch a new sports streaming platform this fall, reported The Wall Street Journal’s Isabella Simonetti. The suit, which seeks to block the venture, is also asking for a jury trial and punitive damages, alleging the media companies wouldn’t let Fubo carry a small bundle of sports-focused channels that they are now looking to include in the new service.
