FTC yields to ‘defeat’ in antitrust battle with Facebook, Gizmodo reports

The Federal Trade Commission will not appeal its loss in a prior suit suit which looked to block Meta Platforms’ from buying virtual reality start-up VR fitness company Within, reports Gizmodo’s. Mack DeGeurin "The regulator’s decision marks a major win for Meta and draws renewed scrutiny on the agency’s capacity to successfully bring similar antitrust cases aimed at limiting Big Tech’s market dominance," added the Gizmodo story. The Fly notes that other Big Technames that have drawn FTC attention include: Amazon.com (AMZN), Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) and Apple (AAPL). Reference Link
