FTC yields to ‘defeat’ in antitrust battle with Facebook, Gizmodo reports

The Federal Trade Commission will not appeal its loss in a prior suit suit which looked to block Meta Platforms’ from buying virtual reality start-up VR fitness company Within, reports Gizmodo’s. Mack DeGeurin "The regulator’s decision marks a major win for Meta and draws renewed scrutiny on the agency’s capacity to successfully bring similar antitrust cases aimed at limiting Big Tech’s market dominance," added the Gizmodo story.
