The FTC plans to appeal a recent U.S. federal court decision that cleared the path for Microsoft (MSFT) to acquire Activision Blizzard (ATVI), The Verge’s Tom Warren and Jay Peters report. The commission has filed a notice that it is appealing Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley’s ruling, but the group’s full arguments won’t be known until the full appeal is submitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the authors note.
