Forward Air announced that it will expand its intermodal drayage service offering in the New York and New Jersey area with new operations in Linden, New Jersey. Forward Intermodal will operate a secure container drop yard in the area, while cohabitating with an existing LTL terminal which is expected to create transloading efficiencies and improve speed for its customers. The intermodal operation is expected to move into a new building in the coming months and create approximately 35 driver and support staff jobs.
