Ford file patent for drone to jumpstart cars with dead battery, NY Post reports

Ford Motor has filed a patent for a drone that can jumpstart cars on the side of the road with dead batteries, Lisa Fickenscher of The New York Post reports. In the future, Ford vehicles may have technology that allows it to transmit a request that dispatches drones that can then deliver jumper cables or provide a charge from the drone, the Post said, citing the recently published patent filing.
