First Solar said an audit by the company found migrant workers in Malaysia were victims of forced labor, Ivan Penn and Ana Swanson of The New York Times reports. The internal audit found four subcontractors in Malaysia that charged workers recruitment fees in their home countries and withheld pay and passports.
