Finward Bancorp appoints Kwait as SVP, General Counsel, CRO

Finward Bancorp announced the appointment of David Kwait as the Senior Vice President, SVP, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Risk Officer, CRO, of the Bancorp and the Bank, with the appointment to be effective as of June 30, 2023. Kwait joined the Bank in 2011, when he was hired as an Assistant Vice President, Staff Attorney, Legal Counsel, and Wealth Management Officer. In his new role as Chief Risk Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Kwait will lead the Risk Management and Compliance teams in fostering and advancing a culture of compliance, as well as coordinating with the Bank’s operational and administrative functions to effectively manage risk.
