U.K. boxed sales of Square Enix’s “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” in its launch week is 30% lower than that of 2020’s “Final Fantasy VII Remake,” Gamesindustry.biz’s Christopher Dring reports, citing data from GfK. Dring noted that the “Remake,” which is the predecessor to “Rebirth,” released during the peak of COVID-19 lockdowns.
