The European Commission told The Verge that it may need to reassess Microsoft’s (MSFT) proposed Activision Blizzard (ATVI) deal after the Xbox maker restructured the deal to involve transferring cloud gaming rights for currenty and new Activision Blizzard games to Ubisoft (UBSFY). “The Commission is carefully assessing whether the developments in the UK require another notification to the Commission,” European Commission spokesperson Arianna Podesta told The Verge in a statement.
