Apple (AAPL) is slated ot be hit with an EU antitrust penalty of roughly EUR500M next week in a music streaming case brought forth by a Spotify (SPOT) complaint, Reuters’ Foo Yun Chee reports, citing sources. The European Commission in 2023 charged the tech giant with preventing Spotify and other music streaming platforms of informing users of options outside of the App Store, the author notes.
