While presenting at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference, executives from Etsy stated in part, according to a transcript: “We haven’t really competed or tried to compete on price, but in this environment, we’ve started to lean a little bit into discounting and I think that’s what we’re seeing a little bit in those categories with other ecommerce players is that things are 50, 65% off and that’s that’s not where we have played.”
