Barclays lowered the firm’s price target on Estee Lauder to $136 from $140 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. Even if the global Chinese consumer cohort grows in the high-single to low-double digit range, it will be difficult for Estee to grow much higher than the low end of its long-term algorithm in fiscal 2026 and beyond, which is not enough to support a premium multiple, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
