Erste Group Bank initiated with a Neutral at Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs initiated coverage of Erste Group Bank with a Neutral rating and EUR 45.20 price target. While the firm sees the Group benefiting from the higher interest rate environment, the firm also sees the risk for upward pressure on costs primarily from wage inflation as Erste operates in markets that are currently experiencing high inflation and in which wages are directly liked to inflation.
