Wells Fargo analyst Seth Weber upgraded Equifax to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of $290, up from $200. Post peak interest rates with moderating inflation, the firm’s top business and information services sector picks for 2024 are Ecolab (ECL), FICO (FICO), Moody’s (MCO) and Equifax (EFX). The upgrade of Equifax reflects the company’s strong leverage to an eventual rebound in mortgage and its non-mortgage growth “holding in,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
