A date has been established for a trial by jury in a major antitrust case against Google (GOOGL) over the Alphabet unit’s allege abuse of power in the mobile app market, TechCrunch’s Sarah Perez reports. "Fortnite" maker Epic Games and Match Group (MTCH) have joined over three dozen state attorneys general in accusing the search giant of unfairly leveraging its market dominance and harming competition through its Google Play Store terms and practices, the author says. A judge in the Northern District of California has determined that the case will go to court on November 6, 2023, the author notes. Investors in Epic include Tencent (TCEHY), KKR (KKR), Disney (DIS), and Sony (SONY). Reference Link
