Enphase makes key components for the residential market, which is still growing but faces new challenges as high interest rates and more-stringent rules for solar panels in California have scared off potential customers and led to uncertainty in the industry, Avi Salzman writes in this week’s edition of Barron’s. The recent selloff looks too steep, the author says, noting that unlike solar peers, Enphase is solidly profitable and doesn’t need to tap increasingly expensive debt markets to fuel its growth.
