Berenberg downgraded Eni to Hold from Buy with a price target of EUR 15, down from EUR 17.50. The analyst says a normalization of gas prices and spreads in Europe will put some pressure on the company’s results. Eni is still looking to invest upstream and, while the announced dividend increase leaves an attractive yield, the overall payout ratio remains below peers, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
