Loop Capital analyst Chris Kapsch raised the firm’s price target on Element Solutions to $30 from $24 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm has also named the stock its 2024 Best Idea for the Chemical & Advanced Materials segment, noting that the global electronics market recovery should become more pronounced over the next 12-18 months. The “green shoots” that Element Solutions management flagged in their Q3 quarterly commentary will increasingly become tailwinds during the course of 2024 and into 2025, boosting the case for an improvement in valuation, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
