Ecolab upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Mizuho

Mizuho analyst John Roberts upgraded Ecolab to Buy from Neutral with a price target of $260, up from $216. The analyst has gained more confidence that the company “appears to be back to its historical beat-and-raise visibility.” Following a period of travel and hospitality collapses during the pandemic, and extreme volatility in raw materials, the “old Ecolab” is back, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm sees the company returning to being a “consistent earnings compounder.”
