Transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney has responded to the backlash from her social media promotion with Bud Light, which led to conservative attacks and a brand boycott, The New York Times’ John Yoon reports, citing a video by Mulvaney. The influencer said she has faced stalking and personal attacks and the beer maker has failed to contact her amid the controversy. “I was waiting for the brand to reach out to me, but they never did,” she said. “For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse, in my opinion, than not hiring a trans person at all.”
