Dow Jones chief financial officer Liz O’Melia is leaving the company after only 15 months, Financial Times’ Daniel Thomas and Anna Nicolaou report, citing people familiar with the matter. Dow Jones, which owns the Wall Street Journal, is searching for a new CFO, and O’Melia is staying on during the transition, said one of the people. O’Melia’s exit comes as parent company News Corp. is under pressure from activist investor Starboard to break up the company.
