Disney (DIS) has held exploratory discussions over selling its ABC network and TV stations to Nexstar Media (NXST), Bloomberg’s Christopher Palmeri and Thomas Buckley report, citing a person familiar with the discussions. The discussions are preliminary and have not involved a particular valuation, the authors note. Nexstar would only be interested in a deal for ABC at the right price, the authors say. Disney shares are up 1% after the news, while Nexstar shares are 6% higher.
