Truist analyst Brian Foran initiated coverage of Discover (DFS) with a Buy rating and $233 price target. Post-election “chatter” seems to suggest that the Capital One (COF) deal may get approved in the next months, says the analyst, who believes that Discover “has the bones to deliver strong” return on tangible common equity and tangible book value accretion even on a standalone basis.
