Roth MKM lowered the firm’s price target on Digital Turbine (APPS) to $3 from $4.50 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Preliminary handset data from IDC suggests improving smartphone shipments as the company’s key parter Samsung’s (SSNLF) declines narrowed to just 70bps from last year, the analyst tells investors in a research note. As headwinds start to subside, this could result in a more favorable outlook on the device side for the June quarter if monetization and advertising trends remain in favor, the firm added.
