Defense contractors passing on some big deals, WSJ reports

Global conflicts have driven record orders for Northrop Grumman (NOC), Lockheed Martin (LMT) and RTX (RTX), but they are passing on some big deals, The Wall Street Journal’s Doug Cameron and Drew FitzGerald report. Northrop Grumman said last summer that it wouldn’t bid on an Air Force program to develop high-end jet fighters that will replace the radar-evading F-22, while L3Harris (LHX) dropped out of competing for a new Navy missile last summer and another deal in the fall, the report notes.
